11/04/2017 Joseph Coulter was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Anne Coulter. Thomas Coulter married Eliza Robinson on 12th June 1879 in the district of Fermanagh.
11/04/2017 Joseph was born in the Brookeborough area of County Fermanagh on 8th December 1893. The family lived in Mullaghfad, Cooneen, midway between Brookeborough and Fivemiletown.

11/04/2017 Joseph also served with the 2nd Regiment of the North Irish Horse before joining the Royal Irish Fusiliers.
11/04/2017 In his will, Joseph left all to his mother, Elizabeth Anne Coulter, who was living at Mullaghfad, Fivemiletown, County Tyrone.
30/12/2015 Private Joseph Coulter was serving with the 9th Battalion of the Royal Irish Fusiliers when he was killed in action in Belgium. The exact date of death is unknown but he died between 1 and 7 October 1918. He was 24.
