30/12/2015 Private Mitchell McFarlane was serving with the garrison depot of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (located in Omagh) when he died on 1st November 1918 at home, aged 19.
30/12/2015 Mitchell McFarlane enlisted in Ballygawley.
30/12/2015 By the time of the 1911 census, the family had been split up. It appears possible that both parents had died. Twelve year old Mitchell was living the Thompson family at Tirelugan, Tullyvar, Tyrone.
