The Canadian Circumstances of Death Register records that Acting Corporal Oliver was killed in action on 13th June 1916. He had previously been reported missing. His unit were involved in an attack on Hill 70 at Loos at the time.
Private John Ramsey is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, near Arras in France.
