David O’Hara was born in Newry, County Down. David O’Hara enlisted in Belfast whilst he was living in Lisburn. Private David O’Hara was serving with the 7th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed I action in France and Flanders on Tuesday 9th October 1917. The Presbyterian Church In Ireland - Roll of Honour 1914-1919 (Dungannon, 2nd Presbyterian) lists a David O’Hara from Killyquinn who was killed in action. Private David O’Hara has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial in France.
