26/04/2017 Sergeant Andrew Wigton is buried in Ypres Reservoir Cemetery in Belgium.
26/04/2017 The Glasgow Roll of Honour states that Sergeant Andrew Wigton was living at 36 Tollcross Road, Glasgow.
26/04/2017 The Scottish Evening Times dated 9th October 1917 has a report and a photo of Sergeant Wigton on page 6.
26/04/2017 Sergeant Andrew Wigton M.M. was serving with the 11th Battalion of the Royal Scots when he was killed in action in France on Sunday 16th September 1917.
26/04/2017 Lance Corporal Andrew Wigton was awarded the Military Medal. His award is listed in the London Gazette dated 10th August 1916.
