16/11/2019 Private D Allen is buried in Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery in Manancourt in France.
16/11/2019 David Allen was second youngest son of William and Sarah Allen. William Allen and Sarah Rodgers were married on 26th April 1877 in the district of Armagh.
16/11/2019 David Allen was born in Minterburn, County Tyrone on 6th June 1894. He was the second youngest of ten children, all born in the Caledon area.

30/12/2015 Private David Allen was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Irish Rifles when he died of wounds in France on Tuesday 2nd October 1917 in France.
