Robert Hall was the son of Thomas and Sarah Hall. Robert was born in September 1893. Thomas Hall was a farmer. The family lived near Fivemiletown. Robert Hall emigrated to America. He enlisted in Toronto, Canada on 21st September 1917. Private Robert Hall enlisted with the Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Private Hall died of scarlet fever on 4th February 1918 whilst training in Canada.

Robert Hall was the son of Thomas and Sarah Hall. Thomas Hall and Sarah Irwin were married on 14th October 1883 in the district of Fermanagh.
Robert Hall was born on 20th September 1893. He was one of ten children, all born in the Fivemiletown area.
The 1901 census records Robert as age 7 living with the family at house 5 in Tircar, Fivemiletown, County Tyrone. Thomas Hall is a farmer.

Robert Hall emigrated to America. Prior to enlisting, Robert was living in Mayatt, Rhode Island, U.S.A.
Robert enlisted in Toronto, Canada on 21st September 1917. He gives his age as 24 years old. He gives his next of kin as his mother, living in Fivemiletown. Robert was single and working as a gardener.
Private Robert Hall served with Canadian Machine Corps.
During training, Robert was admitted to the camp hospital in Canada on 27th January 1918, diagnosed with tonsillitis and scarlet fever.
Private Hall died scarlet fever a week later on 4th February 1918 in Canada.
In his will, he left all to his mother.
Private Robert Hall is buried in St. John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto.
Robert Hall is commemorated locally on the WWI Roll of Honour in Fivemiletown Methodist Church and also on Fivemiletown War Memorial.
