On Newmills Church Plaque there is a Robert Daniel Robinson, a Lance Corporal with the Royal Ulster Rifles, who died during World War Two. There is no obvious war casualty who relates to this man at present. There is also a Lance Corporal R D Robinson, with the Royal Ulster Rifles, on Dungannon War Memorial.
