David Samuel Mossey was the eldest son of David and Eliza Mossey. He was born in Augher, on 22nd February 1891.David’s father was a farm labourer. David became the husband of Nora Massey of Liverpool. He enlisted in Liverpool. Lance Sergeant Samuel David Massey was serving with the 4th Battalion of the King's (Liverpool Regiment) when he was killed in action on 26th September 1917.
