Summary      
George Cardwell Davies was the son of Harold and Margaret Davies. He was born on 6th April 1892 in Moy. County Tyrone. His father was a Ship’s Steward. Prior to enlisting, George was working as a grocer’s assistant in Birkenhead, England. George Davies enlisted in the Royal Navy on 6th April 1910. Able Seaman George Davies served on a number of ships and locations during his time in the Royal Navy. Able Seaman Davies’ final ship was HMS Warrior. He died at sea on 31st May 1916.
