Hugh Corey was the son of Bernard and Mary Jane Corey, nee O’Neill. The family lived in Brackaville. Bernard Corey was a flax sorter (hackler). Hugh Corey was born in 1913. Aircraftman 2nd Class Hugh Corey was serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve when he died on 1st July 1945 in Egypt. There are no details of his death.
